CnC Club Members Foreign Frisian, Jimbatron, Killertom500 and Oakshaft complete the Elite Challenge on the Pacific Standard Heist. We pick a route the balances safety and speed. Although there is some miscommunication at the start about who takes which bike, one person falls off, and we lose some time getting into the boat by swimming further than necessary, we still do this comfortably under time. Thanks to GTA Series Videos for the basic strategy which we have modified to make some improvements.

TIPS FOR ALL ELITE CHALLENGES
– Play each heist prior to attempting the elite challenges to get your bearings.
– The Sandy Shores Facility is the best property to own for these elite challenges.
– Use the Mk II Combat MG and Assault Shotgun for the majority of combat. For the enemies wearing armored suits in Act III, the minigun and RPG are the most effective (just make sure there’s nobody in front of you if you use the RPG). No other weapons are really needed.
– Stock up on snacks and armor before starting each heist. Spam them throughout from your interaction menu to stay alive.
– Do each heist on hard. You cannot die in the elite challenges; since normal difficulty only provides an additional life and the enemies are just as strong, keep it in hard and get the max payout.
– Run a timer on your smartphone or watch to make sure you’re hitting the time goals. Start it as soon as you leave the facility and have control of your character. If you think you’ll be over the time, fail the heist and re-host it.
– If anyone dies during the heist, do not restart. Hit continue and re-host it.
– 4 people are recommended for each elite challenge.
– Do not trip skip.
ELITE CHALLENGE REQUIREMENTS
– Act I: Complete in 5:30 or less, kill 78 enemies, nobody dies.
– Act II: Complete in 15:00 or less, take 5% damage or less to the Avenger, nobody dies.
– Act III: Complete in 30:00 or less, get 150 headshots, 0 hacks failed, nobody dies.
ACT I TIPS
– The Grand Senora Desert Facility is the closest to the first checkpoint, but Sandy Shores will work too if you’re quick.
– Use Vigilantes. You can use the missiles to quickly eliminate all of the enemies and enter the IAA facility. (Just don’t use the rocket boost after banking into a telephone pole like me.)
– Stick together and work through the facility as quickly as possible to eliminate all enemies.
– The only slightly confusing part is at 3:20 in the video. There is another staircase in the right side of this room leading you down to another area full of enemies. My team already cleared that area while I was in the room above and then came back up to the war room to finish it up.
ACT II TIPS
– We hosted the heist from the Sandy Shores Facility. The Paleto Bay Facility would result in a quicker time, but since it’s much further from every other heist, don’t buy it.
– Use fast motorcycles or cars to get to the first checkpoint. The time is not too difficult for this one.
– Air Team: If you’re the pilot, enter your interaction menu when you’re over the sub and put the Avenger in autopilot mode. Then join your teammate in the cabin and use one of the guns. Use whichever gun camera gives you the best view of the incoming helicopters. Try to figure out the spawn points as soon as possible to keep the helicopters from getting close enough to damage the Avenger. Keep an eye on the damage bar; if you’ve taken more than 1-2 bursts of bullets and the damage bar goes below where it does in this video, fail the heist and re-host it.
– Sub Team enters the submarine and kills a bunch of enemies en route to a few objectives. NOTE: I was on the air team for this mission, so I do not have footage of the submarine portion of this heist in this video. I would recommend doing this heist a few times on the sub team to familiarize yourself with the path. Once you know where you’re going, it’s pretty straightforward.
– Glitch note: If someone in the cabin of the Avenger tries to enter the cockpit after the rendezvous on the beach, it may kick you out and send you parachuting outside. Just stay in the cabin.
ACT III TIPS
– The Sandy Shores Facility is close to the first checkpoint, so that’s obviously the best one to host from. Others are still possible (we hosted from Grand Senora Desert in this video).
– Use quick motorcycles or cars to get to the first checkpoint. DO NOT pick the tank once you reach the checkpoint. Use the Barrage instead. It’s much quicker down the tunnels.
– Shoot the gunners on the Insurgents as quickly as possible in the tunnels. They can kill you with a couple of shots. Have your armor menu open for this section and re-equip armor as needed.
– At the end of the tunnel at 26:10 in the video, make sure you slow down before the spike strips.
– You can basically farm endless headshots during the hacking section, but still try to go for headshots throughout.
– Hacking isn’t included in this video, but just make sure whoever is hacking has done it beforehand to avoid failed hacks.
– When you get to the jetpacks, put your landing gear up right away, spam enemies with rockets, and head straight to the observatory. Make sure you remember to put your landing gear down before you land.
